| (1.Department of Olympic and Sports Sociolog，Beijing Sport University，Beijing 100084，China；2.Department of Physical Education，Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology，Xi’an 710055，China) Abstract: The authors pointed out that the core of Olympic education is the education of personality, and that the core value of Olympic competitions is the demonstration of morality, and put forward that current Olympic educa-tion should boost teenagers’ personality cultivation in three aspects, namely, being honest to reality, being harmoni-ous with people, and having a determined mind.As Beijing Olympics 2008 is coming, we should utilize advanced Olympic cultural resources, make an in-depth study of Olympic education issues, and develop Olympic education among teenagers. It is one of the important tasks of Beijing Olympics 2008 to perfect teenagers’ personality by seizing the Olympic opportunity and utilizing Olympic education. |
