| （Department of Physical Education，Hechi College，Yizhou 546300，China） Abstract: The author gave an overview of the origin and development of board-shoe dance popular among people of Zhuang nationality, analyzed the fitness and entertainment values and cultural characteristics of board-shoe dance, and revealed the following findings: board-shoe dance popular among people of Zhuang nationality is both an art and a sports means, having not only such cultural characteristics as being national, regional, collective, inter-active, enjoyable and comprehensive, but also such social values as being good for physical health, mental health and sports tourism development. |
