There are 4 stages in the course of development of leisure sport in public schools in the United States, namely, providing playgrounds and gymnasiums for teenagers to play and have fun, fusion type curriculum mode, and a series of reform and development in relation to individual growth and the satisfaction of the needs of the family, community and society; as part of the process of individual development and lifetime study, current scholastic leisure sport is devoting itself to continuing to exert its positive functions.
