武术入奥并非武术发展的最佳选择

Introducing Wushu into the Olympic Games is not the best choice for Wushu development

(College of Physical Education,Luoyang Teachers Institute,Luoyang 471022,China) Abstract:Chinese Wushu and the Olympic Games are two entities hard to be compatible no mater from the perspective of the origin or development track, national character and philosophic thinking, or from the perspective of specific operation.Beijing’s success in applying for becoming the host for the Olympic Games does not equal to introducing Wushu into the Olympic Games or Wushu development.It is not conductive to the spreading of Chinese Wushu all over the world to modify Wushu events for the purpose of being introduced into the Olympic Games.
