At first, the pa per analyzed the present situation of judging in the athletics competition: many competition events many athletics, the competition time is very long, objection of the competition performance. The conclusion is that there are 6 main characteristic of judging in the athletics competition: dividing the work is specialization, the methods of judging is electronic date processing, judging processing i s by program, the performance judging is scientific, field and equipments is high technical and the numbers of judges is more and more.
