The evolution approach and realistic reflection on the offensive and defensive attributes of Wushu from the perspective of cultural change WANG Yongqian，WANG Guozhi，YAN Min，HAN Zheng

Abstract: Using the methods of literature, logical analysis, and profile analysis and historical recovery in the study of cultural change, to explore the evolution approach of the offensive and defensive attributes for Wushu. It has been believed that the offensive and defensive attributes of Wushu show the evolution approach of strengthening, weakening and hiding in the three stages of "round Heaven and square Earth", "Heaven rends asunder and earth cracks" and "the creation of the world" respectively. On the basis of this, this study starts thinking about the development of Wushu in the process of Chinese-style modernization, and then holds that the development of Wushu should break away from the shackles of western sports, and take Xi Jinping's Chinese modernization thought as the theoretical basis to establish a self-oriented developmental road for Wushu; to firm cultural consciousness, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-reliance, rooted in the excellent traditional Chinese culture; and to innovate developmental model for Wushu, and absorb the beneficial factors from national sports culture in this world.
