| （School of Physical Education and Health，Changjiang Normal University，Chongqing 408100，China） Abstract: The author analyzed the construction of majors with national features in the physical education discipline in institutes of higher learning nationwide between 2003 and 2010: institutes which constructed majors with national features in the physical education discipline in China were mainly distributed in schools in the eastern and central regions in a concentrated way, in institutes with physical education majors; major areas were mainly distributed in physical education, sports training and the science of human movement; however, there were still problems such as indistinctive major features, not rational enough teacher structure etc. |
