| （1.School of Physical Education，South China University of Technology，Guangzhou 510641，China；2.Department of Physical Education，Jinan University，Guangzhou 510632，China） Abstract: By reviewing the century ups and downs of golf in the history of the Olympic Games, the authors ana-lyzed the influence of the radiation of Olympic cultural circles on golf, expatiated on the needs of Olympic culture for the golf movement, revealed the imitativeness and necessity for golf to blend into the Olympic Games under the background of the increase of influence of Olympic culture on global sport, and put forward the following opinions: the return of golf to the Olympic Games is historically necessary, also realistically needed; it will infuse cultural values and spiritual conceptual elements of the Olympic movement into the development of golf, and moreover, provide cultural interpretation for the reform and development of the Olympic movement. |
