| （College of Physical Education，Southwest University，Chongqing 400715，China） Abstract: By looking into such phenomena currently existing in media sport in China as faking, over entertaining, and constant over publicizing, the author considered that media self-discipline is important to contain media sports aberration, and drew the following conclusions: uplifting the professional ethics of the practitioners is the founda-tion; strengthening the business accomplishments of the practitioners is the precondition; standardizing the internal management mechanism of news media is the assurance; widely implementing social monitoring is the main chan-nel for media self-discipline. |
