| (College of Physical Education and Health,East China Normal University,Shanghai 200062,China) Abstract:By analyzing the special psychology of fans when they were watching competitive sports games, and according to Pascal’s philosophic ideas and the truth revealed in the complementary principle, the author dissected the issue of viewing the process and result in competitive sports games, revealed that the result couldn’t be unimportant yet it would cause misrepresentation and misunderstanding of sport to think about the result as the most important thing, and further realized that only the value contained in the process of competitive sports games was the most important thing.
