| (1.Department of Physical Education, Leshan Normal Institute, Leshan 614900, China; 2.Chengdu Institute of Physical Education,Chengdu 610041,China) Abstract: Body movement difficulty has always been considered as a major breakthrough in the development of artistic gymnastics technique.Difficulty is the backbone of a set of movement and the only factor to decide technical value score for a whole set of movement.The biggest breakthrough of International Scoring Rules for Artistic Gymnastics (2003 Version) lies in the followings: the quantity of body movement difficulty is increased rapidly; the type of movement is increased and movement’s technical complexity is enhanced; the magnitude of body movement difficulty is combined with the score. It has been proved once again in practice that difficulty is the precondition of competitive artistic gymnastics today. |
