(1.Department of Physical Education,Central South University,Changsha 410083,China;2.Department of Physical Education,Hunan University,Changsha 410082,China) Abstract: The study want to find if the basketball and the Taij have some different effect on bone metabolism in old adults.Results show that both Taiji and basketball can have effective stimulus to skeletal muscles, decrease the loss of bone minerals, keep the bone density stable, and modulate the dynamic balance between bone calciumand and serum calcium.Compared with Taij, the basketball has a better effect in keep the bone metabolism stable. |
