(Institute of Physical Education,Liaoning Normal University,Dalian  116029，China) Abstract: On the basis of the teaching experience, the paper summarized the use of modern teaching technique in colleges of physical education, which included the basic approaches, principles, and the problems. Then the fundamental hypothesis of the multimedia and modern teaching technique applied to the PE teaching were discussed. The aim is to offer the reference for the use of the multimedia and modern teaching technique in colleges of physical education.
