International practices should be respected for the legislation of the scope of sports arbitration in China. We should not only restrict the scope within the area of competitive sports ac-tivities and process arbitrable sports disputes according to the stipulations of the Sports Law, but also respect the will of the parties concerned; the sports arbitration institution should process sports factor related business disputes submitted willingly by the parties concerned to the sports arbitration institution.
