数字化的自我技术:社交媒介女性健身者的自律呈现与主体建构

      要:运用网络民族志方法,以福柯的自我技术理论为视角探讨社交媒介中女性健身者的自律呈现与主体建构。研究认为:社交媒介中女性健身者的自律呈现包括自律健身的视觉呈现、话语呈现和互动呈现3个维度。女性健身者的主体建构分为:主体对抗:身体焦虑与自我规训的互构;主体抑制:道德品质与数字资本的互构;主体剥削:自我赋权与自我异化的互构。在数字技术介入下,数字化的自我技术为女性提供了重塑主体性的技术路径,又将女性主体深刻卷入算法规训与资本运行的漩涡中。

Digital self-technology: Self-discipline presentation and subject construction of female fitness enthusiasts on social media

Abstract: Using the method of online ethnography, this study explores the self-discipline presentation and subject construction of female fitness enthusiasts in social media from the perspective of Foucault's self-technology theory. The present study holds that self-discipline presentation of female fitness enthusiasts on social media includes three dimensions of visual presentation, discourse presentation, and interactive presentation of self-discipline fitness. The subject construction of female fitness enthusiasts can be divided into subject confrontation: the mutual construction of body anxiety and self-regulation; subject inhibition: the mutual construction of moral quality and digital capital; and subject exploitation: the mutual construction of self-empowerment and self-alienation. Along with the intervention of digital technology, digital self-technology provides a technological path for females to reshape their subjectivity, and also deeply entangles themselves in the vortex of algorithm training and capital operation.
