The bases for this conclusion are mainly as follows: A crossing mutual complementing and affecting relationship exists in be-tween moral character education and mental health education, which has determined the necessity of the organic combination of these two aspects; the characteristics of physical education teaching itself, and the unification of the basic elements and links in physical education teaching, have provided the organic combination of these two aspects with realistic conditions.
