(1.Department of Physical Education and Sport,Beijing Normal University,Beijing 100875,China; 2.Department of Small Ball,Beijing Sport University, Beijing 100084,China) Abstract: Basing their research background on “sports and health curriculum reform” and using sports and health associated questionnaires, the authors surveyed the structural characteristics of sports and health associated knowledge, assurance and performance of PE teachers in part of middle schools in cities and provinces in China and current undergraduates in sports education specialty, analyzed main issues existed in PE teacher’s KAP structure, and probed into the effects of defects in PE teacher’s knowledge and capability structure on sports and health curriculum reform. On the basis of such a research, the authors studied the development trend of PE teacher’s vocational career at fundamental education stage in China.
